color, composite, dance, sharpie

So, the first image is a bit more spectral than I’d like, but Photoshop still controls me more than I control it at this point. This is a composite image consisting of two original image layers drawn with a sharpie and scanned (see below), three layers of color painted within Photoshop, and a Hue/Saturation adjustment layer. The layers merge into each other via liberal use of the “difference” and “color dodge” filters. Eventually, I’m thinking this sort of image would be a hoot to animate.
